We are on the precipice of the final full month of the 2023-2024 Academic Year. In addition to our students' preparations for the Finale Concerts, we have a number of action items for the Band Boosters too, including some fundraising opportunities listed below. Check them out!
This Week:
Sunday, April 28-May 5: Estheticul Fundraiser "Mother's Day Specials" gift certificates purchase window.
Monday, April 29: 3-4:30 PM Scranton Color Guard Clinic, SMS Cafeteria. 5-9 PM Lacrosse Concessions
Saturday, May 4: 12:30-2:30 PM Lacrosse Concessions
Next Week:
Monday, May 6: 5-9 PM Lacrosse Concessions. 7 PM Monthly Band Boosters Meeting including election of Officers for 2024-2025!
Wednesday, May 8: Etheticul Spa Gift Certificates to be distributed
In the weeks ahead, we have Tag Days planned for May 24 & May 25. We need a volunteer to contact area businesses to secure permission for groups of students to solicit these donations on their premises. Tag Day funds raised become scholarships for private lessons.

Welcome!
The Brighton Band Boosters is a non-profit organization of parents and care-givers dedicated to working in partnership with our Band Directors to create a one-of-a-kind experience for our band students. We support all aspects of the band including the marching band, drumline, and color guard, as well as the multiple concert bands at all three schools.
The Boosters are run by a board of volunteers elected by our members each year. We provide all band parents and guardians the opportunity to actively support our amazing band programs by helping with things such as chaperoning events and student socials, helping to move band equipment and distributing uniforms, assisting with concert publicity, fundraising, and more. Our goal is to keep things running smoothly so the band directors can focus on the students and the music. Our fundraising efforts, most notably the sale of concessions during BAS sporting events, provide valuable financial support to the bands.
The Boosters meet once a month. Meetings are open to parents and care-givers from BHS, Scranton and Maltby and include information concerning the future of the band programs, upcoming events, and areas of concern or need. Throughout the year you will receive email newsletters from the Boosters with event updates and volunteer opportunities.
